Flea beetle model aims to narrow scouting focus
Ukko Agro has developed a pre-commercial beta flea beetle pressure model aimed to help agronomists and growers narrow their scouting focus based on fields with the highest potential pressure within susceptible canola growth stages.
EMILI will be scouting canola fields within a three kilometer radius of a weather station in canola. Daily scouting for flea beetle presence will help proof the model accuracy while testing user experience and validating commercial applicability.
